Responsibilities
Content Creation: Draft, design, and schedule daily posts across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
Community Management: Engage with our followers, respond to comments, and participate in relevant industry conversations to boost our visibility.
Trend Spotting: Stay ahead of social media trends and "Dev-Twitter" humor to keep our brand relevant and approachable.
Analytics Support: Track monthly performance metrics (engagement, reach, growth) and help the team brainstorm ways to drive results.
Collaboration: Work closely with our designer, developers, and project managers to translate complex tech updates into "human-speak."
Reporting: Assist the Marketing Manager in tracking KPIs, including engagement rates and follower growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Business Administration, or related fields.
- 0–2 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Experience with LinkedIn (our primary hub) and the nuances of different social platforms.
- Experience with social media scheduling tools (Buffer or Hootsuite).
- Basic proficiency in design tools like Canva or CapCut.
- A genuine interest in the software development industry.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential.
- Writing: You should be able to switch effortlessly between professional whitepaper summaries on LinkedIn and conversational "tech-speak" on Instagram.
- Speaking: You must be comfortable presenting ideas in meetings and potentially narrating short-form videos or "Behind the Scenes" stories.
- A portfolio of social media content/campaign projects.
- Knowledge of SEO basics.
