Overview
As a Creative Technologist, you will own the end-to-end user experience—from early wireframes and rapid prototypes to fully built, production-ready interfaces. You’ll work closely with AI engineers and founders to design and build intuitive, AI-driven products that feel simple, fast, and human.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and frontend build of the product from day one — starting with prototypes
and iterating toward a polished MVP.
● Create rapid, interactive prototypes to validate ideas with users and stakeholders before
committing to full builds.
● Make fast, opinionated design decisions to keep momentum — avoid over-engineering or
over-designing at the early stage.
● Explore emerging interaction patterns, creative tools, and AI interfaces to push the
product experience beyond conventional design.
● Own the end-to-end user experience across all digital products.
● Design and build user interfaces for AI-powered features — making complex AI outputs
feel simple and trustworthy to end users.
● Work hand in hand with the AI engineer to integrate AI outputs into seamless user
experiences.
● Create and maintain a lightweight design system to ensure consistency across products as
the team scales.
● Conduct lightweight user testing and incorporate feedback into rapid design iterations.
● Own the visual identity and UX standards of the product from the ground up.
● Experience designing for fintech or ecommerce products — understanding of trust, clarity,
and conversion in these contexts.
● Familiarity with designing conversational UI or chatbot interfaces.
● Experience with animation or micro-interaction libraries (Framer Motion, Lottie, etc.).
● Basic data visualization skills — ability to present AI decision outputs and analytics in a
clear, visual way.
● Mobile-first or native mobile design experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction,
or a related field.
● Formal design education or a strong portfolio demonstrating self-taught UX ability is
equally valued.
● 3+ years of experience in frontend development with a strong focus on product design and
user experience.
● Experience building and shipping prototypes and MVPs from scratch in a startup or
early-stage environment.
● Demonstrated ability to own the full product experience — from wireframe to polished,
production-ready UI.
● Experience leading the creative and technical direction of AI-powered or data-driven
products from concept to delivery.
● Proficient in React.js (or similar modern frontend framework) and TypeScript.
● Solid CSS skills — able to implement pixel-perfect, responsive layouts without relying on
heavy UI libraries.
● Comfortable consuming REST APIs and integrating AI-powered backends into frontend
interfaces.
● Familiar with design tools such as Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and design handoff.
● Basic understanding of web performance, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser
compatibility.
● Strong sense of visual design — typography, spacing, color, and hierarchy.
● Ability to design intuitive user flows for complex AI-powered interactions (chatbots,
decision outputs, dashboards).
● Experience conducting basic user research or usability testing to validate design decisions.
● Comfortable producing both low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity mockups quickly.
● Fast mover — able to go from idea to clickable prototype in hours, not days.
● Strong eye for detail without losing sight of the bigger product picture.
● Collaborative by nature — works closely with the AI engineer and founders to bring the
product to life.
● User-obsessed — always thinking about how real people will experience the product.
